For example, in the beginning, you may have funding in your Core Supports budget for daily tasks like getting ready in the morning and cooking meals.
But as you make progress in your NDIS goals and feel confident enough to cook meals and get ready all by yourself, you can use the funds previously used for assistance with those activities to participate in social or recreational activities. Community participation, which comes under NDIS Core Support services is always encouraged as it boosts the morale of the participants and builds their confidence. You can also divide your Core Supports budget between three categories other than community participation namely Assistance with Daily Life, Consumables, and Transport. It is important to remember that you should always keep evidence of your NDIS fund spendings.
